This interview took place in Belgrave Library and has been added to the website with the author鈥檚 permission. He understands the terms and conditions of the website.

Mr. Raithatha鈥檚 father told him this story about his grandfather, Mulchand.

During the war Mulchand travelled with his team of between 10 and 15 people in a small boat, from India to Mombasa in Kenya. The journey took one month and they had only a little food and a charcoal burner to cook it on.
