Belgrave Library is supporting the People's War project by collecting stories from the local community. We are working in partnership with Rushey Mead Secondary School in Leicester. The students have been visiting Residential Homes and Community Centres in the neighbourhood, to collect memories of wartime experiences, many of them from Commonwealth countries. They also visited older people in their own homes.
