Memories of a child who was actually at CROFT CASTLE when it was a boarding school during the war years. On the day the war ended I can remember the Sister Superior lining us up and saying â€œNow children the war has ended.' I remember looking out over the fields and thinking â€” well I canâ€™t see anything different! The thoughts of a mere eight year old!
