Memories of a child who was actually at CROFT CASTLE when it was a boarding school during the war years. On the day the war ended I can remember the Sister Superior lining us up and saying “Now children the war has ended.' I remember looking out over the fields and thinking — well I can’t see anything different! The thoughts of a mere eight year old!

Hi Jean,

Your memories of your time at Croft Castle were very intresting to read. Do you remember the name of your school?

Thank you very much,

Johnnie
