My lasting Memory of World War II is鈥︹︹uring and after 1939 鈥 1945 there was a factory near here that produced canned foods. They bought a ship load of Yak meat from a captured Japanese ship and sold it in cans as 鈥渟tewed beef steak鈥. Many of the canned food in that period was referred to by the manager as 鈥渨hat we call 鈥︹︹︹ there was no 鈥楾rades Description Act鈥 then!
