My lasting Memory of World War II is鈥eeing cartoon films of Pinocchio and Bambi at the cinema and later on being outside the cinema with lots of people and being frightened by a huge BANG. I only learned much later that a bomber had dropped his bomb on our cinema it was a direct hit.
