Women's Auxiliary Air Force from 1944 to 1947. I was a cinema projectionist, attached to the Photographic Section for meteorology and the raids that the crews did. Because I was filming for the crews, then they brought it all back, it was developed and they used to put it on cinema and show the air crews what had happened at the raids, and what hadn't... So, I was doing that, till I came out in 47.
Er, well, after the training at Melksham I went to 'Row', near Carlisle; then I was posted to RAF Kinloss. And then I got posted to Holmness and then I got posted down to Kirkley, in Lancashire. That was before I got demobbed.
