I was in the army during the war. I was a soldier on an army camp helping the men to shoot down enemy aircraft. I had to be good at aircraft recognition. I was on several army campsites telling the gunners when enemy aircraft approached. Other campsites I was on were on the coast at Tenby and Lowestoft and finally in Hyde Park London. It was quite dangerous but the friends I made were there for many years.
