I remember the blackouts 鈥 everything was dark, you鈥檇 go up the road and you couldn鈥檛 see a thing! My poor old next door neighbour, he went to work one night and it was foggy and dark, and the next minute he鈥檇 come back home he鈥檇 walked all around the green outside our houses, and instead of going back to the station he鈥檇 gone all the way round and ended up at his house. He just had to call them and explain that he couldn鈥檛 get there.
