Aunty Annie Scott lived next door to Grandma. She iced all the celebration cakes in the village. If there was a wedding the people would pool their rations of icing sugar for the young couple, the groom probably home on leave. With the icing left over Aunty Annie would make flowers. She used greaseproof paper to make triangular bags and gave the children bags of 鈥渋cing sweets鈥. What a treat while sweets were rationed!
