When I went to get my wedding ring, you see, Albert wasn鈥檛 home. My mummy had to take me down to North Street to get a wedding ring. And of course I went down, and she tells the man;
鈥淢y daughter鈥檚 getting married to an Air Force man and she wants a Wedding ring鈥�
I鈥檓 standing there, and he says 鈥淚s it a weekend one she wants?鈥�
And mum says 鈥淒on鈥檛 you dare to my daughter, a weekend one!鈥�
I didn鈥檛 know what they were on about. This was for the yanks. They got a weekend wedding ring to stop in hotels, because they had to sign in 鈥淢r and Mrs鈥�. This was definitely, Malone road 鈥� there was a Hotel up there, and they used to go up there on that.

Well, I worked then with the Cable assembly. There was 2 girls there, very very good-looking, and they had stopped apparently with the yanks. They used to bring Cigarettes to me to send to my husband in the AF, to post them. And it was Sheila and this Peggy girl.
So, Sheila would come in one day, Really crying. And we asked 鈥淲hat鈥檚 wrong?鈥�
鈥淢y BF鈥檚 being posted. But I鈥檓 most annoyed because he brought his friend up just to see 鈥� And to see all about and look at me.鈥�
And I said 鈥渨hat was all that about?鈥�
He wanted to know 鈥� He鈥檇 told him that she was really good.
I didn鈥檛 know what he meant. She was good at sex!
She says 鈥淲ell I just turned to him and said - It鈥檚 all right for you. I鈥檓 not an art gallery, I鈥檓 a shooting gallery.鈥�
He says 鈥淐ome on, show him!鈥� He wanted to see what she was good at. That鈥檚 a real true story.

Smashing lad she went with. But that was it. He brought his friend up to see, and says 鈥渓et him see it鈥�. And she says 鈥淚鈥檓 not an art gallery, I鈥檓 a shooting gallery鈥�.
