A message from King George VI
After the War in 1946 my daughter Dorothy received a message from King George V1, she was a pupil at Acton Burnell School in Shropshire. He sent the message to the school children in acknowledgement of the fact they had shared in the hardships of the War and that they had shared in the triumph of the Allied Nations.
