East End London, a street named deighton street, House hit by bomb

Me, my mum and my dad were sitting in the living room, mum was doing her knitting, dad was reading the newspaper and i was reading my book, when all of a sudden the air raid siren started wailing, my mum ran and grabbed the tea leaves and our tea pot along with her kniting kit,dad grabbed his newspaper and we all ran out to the shelter in the garden, dad slamed the door behind us and i lay down on my bed, the attack went on until morning, as we all lay there listening to the bombs dropping and the flak guns shooting, mum poured us each out a lovely hot cup of tea, as we sat there sipping our cups of tea we heard a voice, it was one of the air raid warden named James Morrison opened our shelter door and said to us, "good news chaps we have captured some German prisoners whos plane were shot down tonight", my dad replied happily saying "well jolly good, damn them Jerry's", the night went by and the all clear sounded, mum took her knitting kit and the tea pot and tea leaves and we came out walked across the grass into the house. Luckily our house was still standing, thank god for that my dad said.
