============================================

I was in bed and I can remember my mother dragging me out of bed. I was only aged between two and four, and was upstairs in the front bedroom. There had been some sort of noise going over and my mum had said the Doodlebugs were coming. She dragged me under my bed; I grabbed my pillow and went straight to sleep.
I remember thinking, 鈥淚f I鈥檓 going to be blown up, I might as well be asleep and comfortable with my pillow!鈥
However, there were no bombs dropped at all over Worksop, despite the Doodlebugs going over.
