Carly, Heidi and Jodi and interviewing Morris about his wartime memories
Hello we are Carly, Heidi and Jodi. We were mini journalists for the 大象传媒. We interviewed Morris because he was in this school in the war.
We asked him a lot of questions and his answers were were fascinating. Like if they were naughty in class they would have been whipped. If they pulled their hand away they would get a extra whip.
If the teachers didn鈥檛 have a stick, they would throw a bit of chalk at the pupil's head.
We asked him if they had school uniform he replied "No" Because they did not have a lot of money in the war because of rationing .
Morris left school when he was 16, to work and help his family with money problems.
