I was only 7 when the war broke out.
[Schools were interrupted]
They were, because a lot of young boys and girls were evacuated from Belfast to where I lived.
[Was there a lot of disruption?]
Not really. The army were on the roads. That鈥檚 about all.
I remember Belfast being bombed, I saw the planes going overhead.
