7:25 we landed in the midst of bullets and bombs we raced up the beach with our friends and colleagues dropping at our feet. It was 3 long days and nights until we could have a rest the best way we could to get our unit together to show where the target was and go for it. The target was a 150 mm gun which was firing out to sea and it was our job to stop it and we did. Once we had our target we did a perimeter to make sure nobody could attack us again to take it back. After that we got orders through the radios telling us to carry on to the next target. At the end of the war i ended up in a place called Middlebourg in holland. We were living with the people beacuse the barracks were burned down.
