This page was set up by Erskine, the charity which cares for ex-Service men and women throughout Scotland.
Erskine was established in 1916 to care for the wounded returning from the First World War. Today, the charity's aim is to provide specialist care for as many ex-Service men and women as it can, for as long as the need is there. We provide nursing and dementia care for men and women of all ages at homes in Edinburgh and near Glasgow. Visit www.erskine.org.uk for further information.
WW2 Connections
Over 50% of our residents served in World War II in Europe, Africa, the Far East and beyond. We are inviting them, their family and any supporters to contribute their stories to this site over the coming months.
What's On
We will have special Open Days in our library in The Erskine Home by Erskine Bridge during our Erskine Awareness Week 16-20 May, 11am-4pm when people can tell their stories.
