This userid was created for Alexander Scott, in the year before he died. He wrote his war story himself, and his daughter Maxine published it for him on the People's War site. He truly was a great man, and his contribution to victory will always be told to his descendants.
Alex died on 4th June, 2004 and his funeral was held on the 60th anniversary of D-Day, 6th June.
