My name is Peter Scott and at start of war we lived in Timperley 12 miles south of Manchester.
In 1998 after quad by-pass my son in law gave me a computer to help me while away the hours.
To cut a long story short I started to write memories from my chilhood to learn typing. Five years later much to my surprise it turned into a published book called 'TIMPERLEY BOY'.
I have taken out all the war stories into a separate file and would like to submit to the archives. There are 9 stories in total.
