i was born at the end of the war in blackpool on erdington road then we moved on to kent road next on to kay street which has since been pulled down my mother came from quite a large family that all lived round this area my dad was a japanese prisoner of war as was my uncle he has never spoke of his time in japan this is what has made me take an interest in the war days i have not long been pc litterate so i am just finding out about all the sites
i have always lived in blackpool and i think myself very lucky to live here
