I was born in 1945, my father being an American GI from Georgia.
I have spent the past 20 years trying to find him, having thought I had been successful only to have my hopes dashed.

My interest in WW11 is not only a personal one to find my father but to look at how attitudes at that time affected our parents and our future.
As we are about to celebrate the end of the War in Europe it might be helpful if we could look into these affects.

My father was based at Peover in Cheshire in readiness for the invasion of France. If there is anyone out there who has information about the base and its visiting servicemen i would be pleased to hear from them
