My father was the pilot of a Halifax bomber shot down during a raid on Duisberg in 1942. He was incarcerated in Stalagluft III until the end of the war. His autobiography is available as "Pop's Progress" at About links . This site contains a significant amount of information about his time in the camp and many links to other relevant information.
