I was born in the mid 1950's my father was in the navy during ww2 and my mum worked for the ministry and was in Paris after the war both have now passed away without leaving any of their stories behind so I am talking to other relations to try and gather as much as I can befroe they also pass on!
Mum never talked about what she did during the war and my father was an engineer in lots of boats in lots of seas he gained the Africa Star as well as a number of other medals for being involved in various conflicts during ww2.
