Year 9 pupils at Burntwood School have been participating in an extra-curricular project all year to find out what it was like to live in London during the Second World War. They have written letters to people who lived through the war and received a number of interesting replies. They also interviewed a number of ladies who belong to the Silver Circle Reading Group of Wandsworth Library.
Earlier in the year the group visited Wandsworth Museum and Battersea Library to research the local area.
We would like to thank everybody who helped us with this project and hope that you enjoy reading our entries.
