CSV Media Clubhouse is based at the Southern Counties Radio studios here on Queen's road in Brighton.
The first week of September (1st to 5th) will be dedicated to the WW2 Remembrance.
We will be holding events in our Cyber Cafe as well as having structured learning journeys throughout the week. All of which will introduce people to the 大象传媒 WW2 Remembrance site. It is our aim to get as many people involved as possible - telling their stories, learning how to surf the net, how to email each other, how to make the most out of the site once you get home, and even how to touch up old photos which you might have had from the war. We hope to include a special course where people can bring in musical memories on 78 records and learn how to burn these onto CD's.
We will be inviting all those that want to contribute their stories and share their experiences in a group. Also, if anyone is willing to help out over the week with showing other people around the site - we would greatly appreciate the help.
Don't forget that anyone is welcome - you may not have a personal memory from the war, but may want to share one of your family members memories, or simply would like to use the site to research past ties.
Anyone interested in getting involved or finding out more about all our other free computer courses - please get in touch with Lisa Newman, CSV Media Clubhouse, 40-42 Queen's Road, Brighton BN1 3XB. Tel: 01273 720894 or email brightonclub@csv.org.uk
