Joan Vize's recollection:
I attended a Wedding in Tufnell Park but the Reception could not be held in the Church Hall as planned, because of an unexploded bomb in the vicarage garden. So we went to the house of a relative -and through the open door of a shed we watched a dog fight between a German plane and a Spitfire.
There was terrific bombing of the London Docks that night September 7th 1940.
