I live in Penparcau, Aberystwyth and I am involved in the community in various ways. I am secretary of a Tenants and residents Assoc. I have been chair of an action group to stop 38 dwellings on Heol Tynyfron, Penparcau, we failed to stop this, not surprising really as all the details are done before the application is made public.
At the last June elections I put myself forward as a candidate for "Plaid Cymru, Party of Wales" at the Aberystwyth town council elections, I was voted in, and the surprising thing is that now people listen to me, without having to resort to our local newspaper.
I am a Key tenant for the mid-region Welsh Tenants Federation, which covers the area of Powys & Ceredigion. and in the future to get onto the management board.
