Well, this is very nice. The 大象传媒 asked me to say a few words and whatnot about my wife and I and our world of home front living history impression stuff, interest in the WW2 British home front & our research into our own family history.
Well, I mean to say, I don't know about world. One's sphere of operations is sunny Blightly and as a hobby we collect home front memorabilia, personal wartime stories and perform living history at a variety of locations. Our British WW2 home front living history impression is based around the roles of Harry & Edna. Harry & Edna are my Grandparents names and we portray thier home front war.
We also operate a free e-group and web site packed with information on the current UK 40's scene, so if your at a loose end do drop by and say What Ho,

"The past," the novelist LP Hartley famously wrote, "is a foreign country." But to us it's different, the past is about our family, country and history.
We have tried to keep this ethic when collect Home Front memorabilia. Especially when we receive donated items. We always try to get as much information about the person who used or wore the item. We feel this helps keep their name alive. Our aim is simple, instead of remembering the person who died, we remember that they lived.
As for this wonderful site, I have a whole host of wartime stories, told to me by my family and I am looking forward to adding them to this site.
Anyway, that's it for now, really, Pip pip!
