We are members of the Silver Circle Reading Group at Earlsfield Library part of Wandsworth Libraries. Our ages range from 40 to over 80. We enjoy reading thrillers, romance, new fiction and biographies.
We have decided to contribute to the People's War archive as many of our members remember this period in their lives and would like to share their memories with others. We are holding a question and answer session on daily life during the War on Monday May 23rd 2005 at Earlsfield Library. We have invited senior pupils from the local secondary school to ask us anything they wish to find out. There will also be a small exhibition of memorabilia, our printed reminiscences, and light refreshments as would have been available during the War.
