In addition to being interested in WW2 in general, I also collect WW2 American vehicles. These now include a Willys MB Jeep and trailer, White Half Track and two Studebaker Weasels.
The first an M29 cargo has been rebuilt but the second an M29C Water Weasel is in the process of being restored, somewhat slowly.
Whilst these vehicles were never used for the purpose for which they were designed, they appear to have been used extensively in Europe and the Pacific as well as seeing duty and action in the post war period.
As the other vehicles are painted in WW2 European theatre colours I am trying to find details of unit markings for the M29C
