I was born in 1938 at Cowley Oxford and spent the WW2 war years there in Campbell Road where we took in refugees from badly affected English war zones.
My father worked in Coventry during WW2 at the 'Daimler Shadow Factory' producing fighting equipment. Dad commuted to and fro on Monday mornings (early) and Friday Nights so I saw little of him.
At the end of WW2 we all moved to live in Coventry.
