I was born in London 1929 Hackney hospital.
1939 I moved to Croydon, New Addington, When my father re married. I joined the W.R.A.F.1947 that is where I met my husband I now live in Lincoln

I was first evacuated 1fst September 1939 from London together with my gasmask and little case We had no idear where we were going I remember arriving at the station in London with the other children I did not have anyone to see me off as my father was at work My mother had died in 1937.

We were taken to Norfolk Terrigton StJohn.

Iwas only there till December 1939. My father remarried thats when we moved to Croydon
