Exciting opportunity
In June, my fiancé was offered a short-term contract in Florence, Italy. We were in the middle of hunting for a new home - with little success - and making wedding plans. Somehow, this seemed to be an exciting opportunity and I persuaded my fiancé to take it!I have just come back from spending two weeks with him in this beautiful city and plan to move there in September until his contract expires. We have rented a beautiful old appartment just minutes away from the Ponte Vecchio.I hope to be able to find some work, although, with my shaky Italian, I do not expect to find anything along with lines of the work I have done in the UK which is design project management. However, in the meantime I do around an hour each day on ´óÏó´«Ã½ Italian and I did remember some phrases when I got there.

Still useless.
I became very interested in languages after travelling last summer. I like to communicate so I started learning the second language - Italian. But now I doubt... Unfortunately, I don't need English or Italian at my work. So, do I really need them in my life? Only for Internet?
