Japanese is easy

I'm English and I live in France. I studied French at school for 6 years and I still find it incredibly hard. I've also studied German (which is easier) and Arabic. When I went to university I began studying Japanese and it is incredibly easy compared to these other languages! Reading and writing are really hard, but speaking, comprehension and learning are so much easier than anything else. There's only two tenses, conjugation is simple, and most of the things you say have to be interpreted by context so you usually don't have to speak in very long sentences.

Konnichiwa! This is so true. I've studied French from Grade 1 to Grade 12, and I still don't feel I've grasped it as much as I have Japanese, which I studied for three years.
