Stop at the next cow

A very common means of transportation in Turkey is the dolmus. They will stop wherever you ask the driver to do so. I tried to imitate what other people around me said to get the guy to stop so I went inek var. He did stop but he couldn't stop laughing. Maybe it was because I told him "there is a cow". I should have said inecek var (pronounce 'inejek var').

This is really funny. But it is very kind of you to try speaking in Turkish. Most people expect everyone to be able to speak English and don't try to learn a word of a foreign language.
