Celtica promises visitors "a unique, informative and stimulating insight into the Celts, their heritage and their culture". The centre is housed in a nineteenth century mansion known as 'Y Plas' in Machynlleth.

King Arthur's Labyrinth is a visitor attraction based on Welsh myths and Legends, in Corris, near Machynlleth. Listen to the tales of King Arthyr on an underground boat tour through caves and caverns, or take the 'Bard's Quest' and search for lost legends.

Housed in the restored Edwardian 'Coliseum Theatre' whose atmosphere has been carefully preserved. Displays show archaeology, local folk-life, a cottage of 1850, agriculture, dairying and various crafts, including spinning and weaving, lead mining, clocks, sea-faring and many more. Temporary art and other displays.
