south west of Cornwall. In the summer, people

The key to successful birding on the islands
is good communication if you want to see some serious bird action e.g. pagers,
CB radios, mobile texts. | Facilities: | Hotels,
cafes and restaurants in major towns. | Access: | The
islands are largely wheelchair accessible. Transport by helicopter from Penzance
and by ferry is wheelchair friendly. | Getting
there: | Excellent network of inter-island
boats that run from April - October. The islands are reached by sea throughout
the summer from Penzance to St Mary's. Flights operate from Southampton, Bristol,
