Hundreds of hospital patients and staff in Worcestershire have been warned they could have come into contact with a healthcare worker with tuberculosis.
Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust has written to 349 patients and 129 members of staff who were at the Worcestershire Royal at the same time as the infected employee.
The risk of anyone developing TB is low, the trust says.
A road remains closed after huge cracks appeared and a pavement outside homes began to sag.
Tenants in one property on Boatman Drive in Etruria had to leave, with repairs impossible until the ground was stabilised by Redrow Homes, Stoke-on-Trent City Council said.
Redrow Homes said it was "aware of reports of subsidence" and was "working with the local authority to establish the root cause of any potential issue".
Part of Broad Street in Birmingham is closed to vehicles from today for work to take place on the West Midlands Metro extension.
There will be changes to some bus services travelling into the city centre.
