Thousands of homes approved for Yorkpublished at 07:23 British Summer Time 22 June 2018
A masterplan to develop thousands of homes and office space on a large area of land behind York railway station has been approved.
It includes proposals for 2,500 homes, 2000 parking spaces, 120,000 sq m of new office space and about 17 acres of parkland and public space.
The plan also includes a £15m project to redevelop the entrance to York railway station.
