Police in Chichester believe the same man is responsible for four separate attacks on the same shop in the space of three months.
The latest incident, at the Co-op on the forecourt of a filling station in Lavant Road, happened at 05:20 BST on 11 April.
The man threw a brick at a large window pane, then picked it up and threw it a second time to smash the window.
It's thought the same man smashed the store's windows in February and twice in March.

Plans to convert an "unviable" care home into flats have been thrown out because of parking concerns.
Eastbourne Borough Council had previously agreed a request to extend Meads House care home in Denton Road.
But its planning committee rejected a new application - similar, but for flats instead of care facilities - because of the expected additional pressure on parking spaces.
The committee heard a smaller expansion, with more off-street parking facilities, might have more chance of winning approval.
Council planners said there had been 37 letters of objection to the proposals for flats, which planning agent Mark Barnard said had been submitted because the care home was no longer viable.
The application was unanimously refused.
She says she wants to help "fire a very loud warning shot across the bows" of the established parties.

The family of a teenager with learning difficulties who was assaulted by strangers in a park believe he was the victim of a hate crime.
James Lane, 18, was with friends, who also have learning difficulties, in Whitstable when two men began to shout and throw dog poo at the group at about 17:00 BST on 21 April.
He said he was then punched in the face, before being pushed to the floor and kicked in the head.
Mr Lane, who described his attackers as "proper idiots", said: "One of them punched me in the eye. One of them pushed me on the floor, kicked me, boot me, in the eye."
His sister, Amy, said she believed the attack was a hate crime.
"James and his friends are vulnerable and they took full advantage of that. It's disgusting," she said.
Kent Police said it was investigating.
