Veteran political activist Eamonn McCann says, "looking at the figures realistically", it is unlikely that he will retain a seat for People before Profit in Foyle.聽
He says being an MLA was a job he "was very pleased to do" and that the Brexit issue "didn't do us any favours".聽

Long-standing SDLP assembly member Alex Attwood, who lost his seat in west Belfast, says his "first and primary" concern is his "patient and understanding" wife and their two young children.
