MC鈥檚 Ezee Rankin and Kami Banton, friends since primary school, have been MCing since the ages of 13 and 15 respectively.
Their name, Vigilante, was inspired by the name of a track by Jamaican Reggae artist Buju Banton.
They thought the lyrics of the song described them pretty well so they used it as the name for themselves.

They have been collaborating musically for almost 4 years now. Currently focusing on the Drum and Bass scene, but also harbouring a love of Reggae, they describe their sound as "explicit, 18鈥檚 only."
They started getting into MCing when they first heard Jungle MC Spider. "We wanted to be part of the vibe that his music gets you into" they say.
Although the boys are still young whippersnappers at the ages of 18 and 19 they have big aspirations for the future. Kami said, "I would like to firstly conquer Drum and Bassland, and then by the age of 30 become a Reggae influenced MC, bringing my own tunes out."
Their goal is "to headline events, getting the crowd going and be the centre of attention on the stage."
They hope to get big in the underground scene playing in places such as Hysteria, Helter Skelter and One Nation.
Vigilante have already produced an album worth of material and in the near future hope to become resident MCs at a club in Nottingham.
Ezee and Kami have already performed live on Crystal FM and are playing at the Med. Fest this summer. They are also going down to the Helter Skelter Festival at the end of July in Warwickshire to see if they can get a slot in the Drum And Bass tent.
