Fame Academy - Louise Griffiths is expelled

Louise Griffiths is the sixth student to be expelled from the Fame Academy tonight (Saturday 30 August) after 24 days in the Academy.

Cat Deeley and Patrick Kielty introduced strong performances from eight students live on 大象传媒 ONE before inviting viewers to vote for their favourites.

Louise, Paris and Alistair also got the chance to perform their self-penned track I'm All Yours after viewers voted their song as the one they'd most like to see performed live on 大象传媒 ONE.

The viewers' vote saved Barry, Alex, James, Paris and Carolynne leaving Peter, Louise and Alistair with their fate undecided.

Panellists Robin Gibb, Richard Park (Head Teacher) and Carrie & David Grant (vocal coaches) voted unanimously to save Peter.

The final choice was left to the students who decided to save Alistair who won six of the seven votes after singing Against All Odds.

Louise lost her Academy place after singing I Just Don't Know What receiving only one vote from her Academy peers.

After the show, Louise said:

"I loved the experience, but it was harder than I expected. It was so nerve racking every time I had to get on that stage I would just start shaking - but I am going to keep going. I want to record an album of my own songs.

"I would like to see Paris and Alistair again as I really enjoyed writing with them and I hope we get to continue writing together."

The seven surviving students return to the Academy and will all sing live again on Sunday 7 September, 大象传媒 ONE at 5.35pm.

The results show will follow at 8.40pm, at the end of which another student will have to leave.

Voting lines are open now.
