2004 is shaping up to "go the extra mile"!
Athens 2004 Olympic
and Paralympic Games
The first modern Olympic Games were held in Athens and for more than
a century have been on a journey around the world.
Now, at the dawn of the third millennium, the Games are returning to
the country of their birth.
Athens 2004 Olympic and Paralympic Games form the world's biggest sporting
event (Olympics 13-29 August; Paralympics 17-28 September) and are broadcast
exclusively on the 大象传媒.
The 大象传媒, as Britain's 2004 Olympic and Paralympic broadcaster, has
exclusive coverage of the event across television, radio and online
throughout the competition, which features 10,000 athletes competing
in 37 disciplines.
The 大象传媒's coverage captures all the big events such as athletics, gymnastics
and swimming, as well as the minority sports which often provide those
magical moments which define an Olympic Games.
大象传媒 Sport's team of expert analysts, including Michael Johnson
and Colin Jackson, join presenter Sue Barker
in Athens to guide viewers through this global celebration of sporting
passion and drama.
And 2004 also marks the first ever interactive Olympic and Paralympic
Games from the 大象传媒.
Digital viewers can navigate their own route through the events and
choose, from five different screens, whether to watch the boxing, judo
or weightlifting, for example, whilst having simultaneous access to
all the latest news.
