Last year's winner was Argentine Angel Cabrera, who held his nerve in a play-off against Kenny Perry and Chad Campbell. Will there be another dramatic late finish at Augusta?

Valentino Rossi is, once again, the man to beat after claiming his seventh MotoGP crown last year but he will face stiff competition from last year's runner-up, Jorge Lorenzo, of Spain.

There is little love lost between the two riders, despite them being team-mates at Fiat Yamaha.
