Age Restrictions
You need to be aged 18 or over to attend this event. You may be required to provide photographic ID in the form of a passport or driving licence.
Travel
The address is The Boiler Shop, Stephenson Works, Sussex Street, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 3PD
Walking: The venue is located to the rear of Newcastle Central Station and is an easy walk from the city centre
From Central Station: Turn right out of the entrance, pass the Royal Station Hotel, turn right and walk through ‘taxi tunnel’. At the end of the tunnel turn right again and head for the Royal Mail building. You will find us situated just past this building.
By Metro: Alight at Central Station and take the Neville Street exit – then follow the directions above.
Food and Drink
A range of food and drink will be on sale inside the venue.
Bars at the event will be operating a ‘Challenge 21’ policy. If bar staff feel you look under the age of 21 they will ask you to provide photo ID with proof that you are over the age of 18 in the form of a driving licence or passport.
Disabled Access
The Boiler Shop is a wheelchair accessible venue with disabled toilet facilities. There will be a reserved viewing area in the main room only, access to which will be at the discretion of security staff and subject to space on a first come first served basis. You do not need to contact us in advance - our team on the day will direct you - but it would help if you can bring a doctor’s note or similar if your condition is not obvious. Please note these facilities are not designed for customers with temporary conditions such as broken legs, or those who are pregnant.
Carer / Companion tickets are available for this event subject to the following criteria.
You will need to support your request with current medical documentation to validate your request.
We accept this in the forms of;
- DLA Entitlement Letter – stating levels awarded (middle or high rates)
- AFIP or War Disablement Pensions – stating percentage awarded.
