How to Become a Voice for Nature
Sir David Attenborough is the voice of nature. But, when facing the threat of climate change and nature loss, one voice alone is not enough. We can all become a voice for nature and speak up on behalf of Planet Earth.
Simply talking about the problem might not sound like much, but creating conversations that inspire change is one of the most powerful things we can all do to help the planet.
Whatever age you are, wherever you live, your voice can make a difference:
馃寧 Use your voice with friends and family: Speaking to those closest to you about nature and climate change is a great place to start.
Ask them questions and discover what they care about too.
馃实 Use your voice at school or work: Talking with your teacher about sustainability in the classroom, or your colleagues about your workplace, can help bring about positive change. Is your school or workplace doing anything to help the environment already? If not, what could be done?
馃审 Use your voice in your community: From simply speaking to your neighbours, raising the topic with your local sports club or councillors/MP, to using your social platform, there are many ways to spark conversations in your community.
It’s much easier to make a difference when you find others to help.
We’ve gathered some resources below to fuel your conversations and help you to become a voice for nature. Get in the mood by watching the special episode of Planet Earth III, Narrated by Kids, on 大象传媒 iPlayer, and catch the accompanying . Or if you’re looking for some general ‘wow’ conversation starters check out 大象传媒 Ideas for shorts, from bringing back woolly mammoths to the amazing secrets of soil.
