Thabet Salem in Damascus tells us about the worsening situation in Syria and deputy chief of police in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, describes the effects of the extreme weather there.

UN secretary general Ban Ki-moon has condemned Syria's use of tanks and live fire against peaceful demonstrators and has called for an independent investigation of the violence. When we speak to political analyst and journalist Thabet Salem in Damascus he tells us that the Syrian army was now working to it's own set of rules.

Sony announces that the reason its PlayStation network has been down for nearly a week is because the personal details of over 75 million subscribers have been stolen. Ricardo Torres from Gamespot in San Francisco joins us to discuss the fallout.
