Rhodri and Lucy Owen take to the streets of Swansea. Rachel Treadaway-Williams investigates the way a car company was run by a flamboyant businessman. The company sold warranties on second hand cars to hundreds of garages across the UK. But customers who bought the warranties are finding that their policies are worthless. Adrian and Beverley Reynolds from Cwmcarn paid 拢700 for a life-of-ownership warranty. When their pickup truck broke down, they tried to claim for the repairs but found that the company had collapsed and they had to pay the repair bill themselves. Many other customers have discovered that the insurance underwriter named on their policy had no connection with the car company.
Since January 2011, X-Ray has been on the trail of a bogus cancer therapist. In an exclusive interview with one of his victims, Rachel hears how the fraudsters conned sick people into undergoing his unlawful treatment at his home in Carmarthenshire.
Local MP Nick Smith questions the way private parking companies operate, and asks why the DVLA are so keen to sell on our details, after many of his constituents complained about the way in which parking charges were introduced in Ebbw Vale. And Lucy's on the case - helping Maria Hamilton from Swansea sort out an enormous bill from a major gas supplier.
