Are you wasting your money if you go to university to study one of the creative degrees?

Thousands of college students are opening their A Level results today but there's also be a seven per cent fall in the numbers of students being admitted into University. Students in England going to university will be the first to face fees of up to 拢9,000 - that's up to three times more than the amount currently paid.

So how is the increase in fees going to influence the choices students make? Is the idea of studying a course like Art or Media studies going to be met with heavy resistance from your parents? Could you justify moving out to study in a city hundreds of miles away from where you live? Or is it time to acknowledge that those Asian parents who banged on about only studying medicine, law or accounting actually had a point? If you're opeing your results today, call Nihal and tell him what you're planning for your future.

Later on, Today marks the 15 year anniversary of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan's death and Dr Zeus joins Nihal to discuss his latest tribute to the musical genius. What was his best piece of music? What are your memories of the great musical legend? Can anyone else do what he did for music?
